Biography

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently practicing in both the Winston-Salem and Greensboro areas. I attended undergraduate and graduate school at George Mason University where I developed a passion for incorporating the values and ethics of social work such as self determination, dignity and worth of a person, and social justice into the therapy setting. I have experience working with several different populations including: LGBTQi+ individuals, persons with substance abuse concerns, the geriatric population, persons with chronic illnesses, domestic violence survivors, and children with developmental and physical disabilities.

In addition to therapeutic services, I promote the social work value of advocacy through implementation of workshops and presentations. Whether it is a business wishing to gain knowledge of how to be more accepting of LGBTQi+ workers or a LGBTQi+ organization wanting to learn more about bystander intervention and mental wellness, I have years of practice and skill building, creating, and presenting my own material that has been catered to specific audiences
